What makes Thorpe Curtains special is the way we combine the kind of professional advice and quality control you’d normally expect from a large, independent retail chain with the type of enthusiasm and personal service you’d usually experience when dealing with a small, family-run business.

What makes us unique is the people behind the product. Over the last 20 years or so Liz Nierop has turned a life-long passion for sewing into a highly successful business. Her husband, John, is an engineer with an eye for detail that is invaluable now that he helps to run the company. Then there’s our team of highly skilled, totally committed seamstresses who will only ever use the best materials and always take the greatest care to ensure that every single item we produce is made to the highest of standards. What we do

We create hand – finished curtains and supply blinds, accessories, specialist tracks and poles. We also offer a full in-house installation service and employ our own dedicated team of highly skilled seamstresses.

You can leave everything to us. All you have to do is choose the fabric you’d like, tell us what you’d like to achieve and set a budget for us to follow.

We will then work closely with you – from design to installation. We can visit your home or you can call in to our town centre showroom for a chat over a coffee. Our job is to come up with the look, and ambience, you want to create-whether it’s for a single room or for a complete home. Our role is to offer you the help and professional advice you need.
